CLAUGHAUN AGM
After a couple of postponed attempts, The Annual General Meeting of Claughaun GAA Club will now take place at 8.00 pm on Friday 27th January 2017 in the clubhouse to discuss 4 motions for the year ahead. We apologise for the delay and hope it has not caused any inconvoenience. We are asking all members to please attend.
TRAINING
We have commenced training for our hurlers and footballers at Sean Choill in Corbally, Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:50pm have been allocated at this facility for the next 8 weeks so we encourage all our players of 17yrs and upwards to take advantage of it. A new management has been put in place which will provide our teams with a complete regime aimed towards plenty of success and build on last years great performances.
FUNDRAISING
We want to thank all of our members and volunteers that helped raise much needed funds for our Youth Development at our bag packing days held in Dunne’s on Childers Road last month. We also want to thank everyone that donated to the cause and for your generosity. Best wishes for 2017.
LOTTO
There was no winner this week, the numbers drawn for 9 January were 02-08-11-12, next week’s lotto will be €13,000. You can now play online via our website www.claughaungaa.com. Click the link to bring you to myclubfinances.com, you can also play in advance which may make it more convenient and prevent missing a draw. Our lotto helps immensely in the running of our club facilities. Along with our club lotto you can enter to play in the Club Limerick Draw. We encourage all players, members and everyone in the locality to join, there are great prizes to be won and we have had a few winners of big prizes lately. Please ask at the club for more details. A one time payment of €100 could win a car to the value of €25,000 or up to 10,000 in the members draw.
EVENTS
There are numerous events being held in the club over the next few weeks. Cards on Friday night and Music as usual every Saturday Night, this week we will have a great nights entertainment when Celtic Ramblers kick off at 10pm. Deals as per usual in the bar on the night.
