U10 FOOTBALL BLITZ                    :  Friday 14th July in Claughaun     

                                                             In a sun kissed Claughaun we hosted an U10 Football blitz last Fri evening 14th and with each team playing 3 games there was plenty of enjoyable & highly skilful action on view! We welcomed 2 teams each from Kildimo/Pallaskenry, Na Piarsaigh & South Liberties along with our 2 teams consisting of Jack Kiely, Mia Moloney, Emmett Kennedy, Jack Kennedy, Darragh Kiely, Donal Carey, Jamie Lawlor, Aidan Lawlor, Calvin O’Brien, David Lee, Stephen Byrnes, Cian Ryan, Alex Ahern, Kyle Tobin, Evan Burke, Lee Ryan, Conor Griffin, Jake O’Callaghan.

Well done to all teams and our club coaches Colin Tuite, Noel Hannan & Derek Lawler for hosting this excellent event.  

U6 HURLING                                  :   We were delighted to host Murroe/Boher U6 hurlers last Fri nite also – we had 24 fine young boys & girls all togged in the famed Green & White.

                                                             A great & sporting nite was had and great to see so many parents looking on at the future players of both clubs & and a bright future indeed!

                                                             A great thank you again to Murroe/Boher GAA and to our coaching team of Katorina Maher, Roisin Casey, Pamela Kelly, Amanda Moloney, & Sarah Murphy who provide excellent coaching week in, week out to our young starlets.

G4MO/Ladies Football                :   Big shout out here to John Ryan (Top tea man in Gaelic Grounds too), coach to Limerick Ladies All Ireland Champions who came along with the Cup last Wed nite 12th Jun to take a training session which was very much appreciated by all in our Ladies Football club..to quote Sinead O’Hanlon on Live 95 ’it was thoroughly enjoyable and we picked up lots of tips’!!!

U14 Match Update:

The score line does scant justice to this great bunch of lads that played with great passion with great improvement evident from match to match. From 4 matches played to date we won 2 & came 2nd in 2, we now look forward to welcoming our near neighbours St Patricks to Childers Road this Wed 19th in R5 of the Championship.

Club Sports Bar:

We now have our HD BIG SCREEN & new sound system installed for all sporting matters & sport does matter! Live music every Sat night from 10pm so come along and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

County Teams:

Congratulations to both Limerick Minor & Senior hurling teams & mgmt who have qualified for this years Munster Final on Sunday 30/Jun in LIT Gaelic Grounds. Best of luck to our senior footballers who play in RD2 of the Football qualifiers away to Westmeath next Sat 22nd Jun @ 6pm.
